Never Play Hungry! San Francisco Playgrounds & Pizza, Mapped
This is an updated version of the San Francisco Playgrounds map that I created a few years ago. In addition to some newly renamed playgrounds in the city (goodbye Julius Kahn...hello Presidio Wall), I've also visualized some of the best pizza spots in San Francisco (in my very biased opinion). Pro tip #1, grab a large takeout pie from The Pizza Place on Noriega, then head over to the West Sunset playground to chow down and slide down.
The Mission takes the prize as the most luxorious area of the city when it comes to the Venn Diagram overlap of playgrounds + plus good pizza.
The Russian Hill / Nob Hill / Chinatown / North Beach quartet is a close second when it comes to a cornucopia of great playgrounds AND great pizza.
